If you are interested in participating as a volunteer in our Youth Leadership Highlands program, 5K Family Fun Festival, or just want to help in any way we would be ecstatic to have you.
Our volunteers are the lifeblood of how we are able to operate, and we are always looking for more people to get involved. We are looking for all kinds of people with different backgrounds. Our goal is to provide a safe and fun environment for our volunteers, so if you are interested, please see below some of the positions that are yet to be filled, and CONTACT US TO VOLUNTEER!
Videographer – we are looking for a volunteer who would be willing to shadow our Y.L.H. class for a day, filming the participants and speakers. This video footage will be used on our social media sites, websites, and to create a promotional video for the program. Speakers – working professionals in Highlands County that would like the opportunity to educate and speak to youth of the County about your business and experiences, please let us know.
Greeters – we are looking for a few individuals who will be able to greet guests at DeVane Park the morning of September 29, 2012. Let us know you are interested for more information. Race leaders – maybe running in races is not your thing? Help direct those who do like to run in the right direction during the 5K race. Let us know you are interested for more information. Breakdown specialists – it is a tough one, but someone has to do it. Sign up to help breakdown and clean up after all the runners and visitors have gone after the 5K and family fun festival.
